The products sold on our site with the Le Sac brand are placed on the market in compliance with the obligations set forth in articles 104 et seq. of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), as well as any applicable European and international legislation.

The products are also covered by the legal guarantee of conformity pursuant to Articles 128-135 septies of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer therefore has the right, at his choice and without additional costs, to the repair or replacement of the product, or to an appropriate reduction in price or to the termination of the contract in the cases provided for by law, all of which must be exercised according to the methods and terms set out in Article 135 bis, 135 ter and 135 quater of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).

To dispose of a suitcase, here are some tips on how to proceed correctly:  

1. Recycling through an eco-centre or ecological island
 Most municipalities have waste collection centers or ecological islands where you can dispose of bulky objects such as suitcases.  

  • Mixed materials : Suitcases are often made of composite materials (plastic, metal, fabric), so they are typically treated as bulky or special waste.  
  • Take your suitcase to the nearest recycling center. In some cases, they may ask you to separate the plastic or metal parts, if possible.  

2. Bulky waste collection  

  • Some municipalities offer a free home collection service for bulky waste. Check with your municipality to see if it is available and how to book it.  
  • This service can be useful for large suitcases or if you have multiple items to dispose of.  

3. Separate disposal (if possible)  

  • In some cases, if the suitcase is mainly made of recyclable materials, you can disassemble it and separate the parts:  
  • Metal (e.g. handles or frames): in the metal container, if permitted by municipal regulations.  
  • Rigid plastic : May be accepted in plastic recycling, but check local guidelines.  
  • Fabrics or other materials : in some cases, as unsorted waste.  

4. Consult the instructions of your municipality  

  • Each municipality has specific regulations for recycling and disposal of bulky waste. Check the instructions on your municipality's website or contact the waste management service to avoid mistakes.  
  • Disposing of your suitcases correctly helps reduce your environmental impact and comply with local regulations.  
  • Material codes, also known as CER codes (European Waste Catalogue) or EER codes (European List of Waste) , are specific numbers that identify each type of waste and its disposal. Below you will find some examples of CER codes commonly used for the correct disposal of materials and the instructions for their conferment.

  1. Recyclables : Materials such as paper, plastic, glass and metals can be disposed of through separate waste collection, following the municipality's instructions.  

  1. Bulky waste : Bulky items such as suitcases, furniture and mattresses should be taken to recycling centres or can be collected via the bulky waste collection service, if available.  

  1. Hazardous waste : Items such as batteries, paints, electronic equipment and containers with chemical substances must be disposed of in appropriate facilities, such as WEEE centres or ecological islands.

Each municipality may have slight variations in disposal provisions. Always consult your municipality's website or local waste manager to check details and collection days

  1. GUIDELINES ON HOW TO USE THE TSA :  

Most suitcases currently on sale feature a TSA combination lock. But what does TSA lock mean?  

Let's start by saying that TSA is the acronym for Transportation Security Administration, the United States government agency responsible for transportation security created after the tragic events of September 11, 2001.  

How to set up TSA lock?  

Each TSA lock is made up of two distinct parts: the lock, for which you will NOT have the key, and a three-digit combination locking system, which on new suitcases is set by default to “000”.  

How to set up a TSA lock?  

To set the combination for your lock, follow these steps:  

1. The factory default code is 000. So, dial it!  

2. Now you need to unlock the hinges. Slide the side button.  

3. Now you need to set a new code. To do this, look for the small pointed button on the lock. Press the button with a pen and hold it down. The button automatically stays pressed.  

4. Then move the knobs choosing an easy to remember three-digit code (birthday, address, etc. ).  

5. Complete the new code by swiping the side button  

6. To test the lock, start inserting the hinges.  

7. Move the dials to a random code.  

8. Slide the side button to ensure the case is locked.  

9. Move the dials to the code you chose in step 4.  

10. Slide the side button to unlock.  

Your TSA is now ready for travel!!!  

Why don't I have the key?  

The TSA key is completely normal that it is not there: the master key to open any TSA is in fact provided only to the authorities in charge of checks.
